Story

Do not let his adorable looks fool you, this child is a menace that knows how to ruin someone's day to the extreme. Everyone he interacts with tends to have much higher levels of anxiety afterwards.

Not much is known of his origins, just that he's a happy energetic kid that grew up with the finest evil education.

He takes great pleasure in challenging people with puzzles or battles to test their skills. They are not offered a choice in the matter. While the test subjects are fighting for their lives he just sits nearby, taking notes.

Cyder's puzzles are overly complicated and sometimes nearly impossible to complete, they range from "Simple block pushing" to "Teleported to a giant ancient underground maze".

Battles tend to be more chaotic than the puzzles. Cyder doesn't believe in regular weapons like guns or swords. Instead, he uses a wide range of throwable potions with varied effects he hides in his clothes. Like the classic explosion, sticky sludge, freezing breezes, hallucinations and many more.

Cyder was tasked with the mission of figuring out what's special about a duo of archaeologists called Explorer and Oscar. Until he can figure that out he spies on them, occasionally revealing himself in order to test their puzzle solving and battling skills.

Cyder challenged Molly to a battle once. She did surprisingly well, even turning Cyder's advantage against himself. She became his first real friend after that. They started occasionally hanging out since then.

He usually sleeps outside when on the hunt, but his true home is at Somber woods with his mother, whom he loves very much.

Explorer welcomes a challenge, but even Cyder can drive his patience to it's limits..

Darvany - Sorceress

Darvany took Cyder in after a failed relationship with his father, he is the only person Darvany won't kill on sight, and she loves him very much.

It's thanks to her teachings that Cyder became so talented in alchemy.

Oscar - Member of the Explorer Organization

Cyder was tasked by his mother with figuring out what's unusual about Explorer and Oscar.

Oscar is completely done with Cyder, the constant attacks and lack of privacy aren't helping one bit with his anger issues..

Molly - Member of the 7 Deadly Beasts gang

Molly is one of the few people that were able to outsmart Cyder, they became friends after that.
